Energy renovation

Energy renovation with French MaPrimeRénov' scheme

Heat pump, insulation, windows: a delegate manages both MaPrimeRénov' and CEE bonuses, advances the money and selects certified RGE contractors.

F/G rated homes are progressively banned from rental (Climate law). Our MaPrimeRénov' delegate partners advance the bonus, handle the file and select certified RGE contractors. Free quote within 48h.

Why use a MaPrimeRénov' delegate?

  • MaPrimeRénov' advance (and CEE under the single-action pathway): no cash upfront
  • Selected RGE QualiPAC, Qualibat, QualiENR contractors
  • Full Anah + CEE file management
  • 10-year warranty required by the delegate

Frequently asked questions

Which works are MaPrimeRénov' eligible?
Two routes, two scopes. On the measure-by-measure route, since 1 September 2026 and in mainland France: heating heat pumps (air-to-water, ground-source), connection to a district heating or cooling network, oil tank removal, energy audit. On the supported pathway (comprehensive renovation, gain of at least two classes): the whole package, insulation and ventilation included. Insulation, windows, ventilation, wood-burning appliances and domestic hot water can therefore no longer be funded as a standalone measure — but they keep CEE (energy saving certificate) bonuses, the reduced 5.5% VAT rate and the zero-interest eco-loan.
How much can I receive?
MaPrimeRénov' ranges from €2,000 (high-income) to €35,000 (very low income, global renovation). Stacking depends on the pathway: with single actions, the grant adds to CEE and the eco-PTZ; under the supported pathway (whole-home renovation), only the eco-PTZ still stacks — the certificates are reserved exclusively to the Anah, which folds them into the grant (decree no. 2020-26, art. 3, II-2°).
When will F and G classes be banned from rental?
Class G banned since January 1, 2025 (new or renewed lease). F banned in 2028, E in 2034.
Why use a delegate?
They advance MaPrimeRénov', deduct it from the final invoice and coordinate RGE contractors: you only pay your net amount, with no cash advance. Under the single-action pathway they also advance the CEE bonuses; under the supported pathway those are reserved exclusively to the Anah, which folds them into the grant.
How long do MaPrimeRénov' renovations take?
By nature: attic insulation 1-3 days, exterior wall insulation (ITE) 2-4 weeks, heat pump 2-5 days, full renovation 3-6 months. Timeline also includes grant file (4-8 weeks of Anah validation before start), often managed in parallel by the delegate.
Must I be owner-occupier to qualify?
No: MaPrimeRénov' Landlord exists (since 2021) with €35,000/unit cap and 6-year minimum rental commitment (capped rent in tense zones). More restrictive than Occupier MPR but available regardless of income. Essential to prepare for F-class ban (2028) and G-class (in force since 2025).
Has MaPrimeRénov' changed recently?
Yes, two major changes in 2025-2026: (1) full renovations require prior audit + 2 minimum actions + 2-class DPE jump; (2) single-action remains eligible with adjusted amounts. Check current rates on france-renov.gouv.fr — a delegate guides you to the optimal pathway.
How is renovation quality controlled?
Mandatory post-renovation audit (full renovation) by an approved auditor, checking compliance with recommendations. For single actions: no mandatory audit but the delegate usually does visual + invoice checks. Anah audits 1 in 50 files (random control).
Can I combine multiple grants (MPR + CEE + eco-PTZ)?
It depends on the pathway. Under the single-action pathway, yes: MPR (subsidy) + CEE (energy bonus, income-independent) + eco-PTZ (0% loan, from €7,000 to €30,000 depending on the number of measures, up to €50,000 for an audited performance-level renovation); grants are then capped at a share of eligible spending that depends on the income bracket, and beyond the cap CEE bonuses are kept and MaPrimeRénov' is reduced accordingly. Under the supported pathway (whole-home renovation), CEE do not add to the grant: the beneficiary undertakes to reserve them exclusively to the Anah (decree no. 2020-26, art. 3, II-2°), which claims and folds them into MaPrimeRénov' itself; the eco-PTZ, for its part, still stacks. The delegate calculates the optimization.
Which materials/equipment qualify for the grant?
The list is set by Annex 1 to decree no. 2020-26, rewritten on 1 September 2026. As a standalone measure in mainland France, only these remain: heat pumps other than air-to-air used for heating (air-to-water, ground-source or solar-assisted), connection to a district heating or cooling network, oil tank removal, energy audit. The heat pump must have no back-up device able to run on fossil fuel. Insulation, windows, dual-flow ventilation, wood stoves and boilers, thermodynamic and solar water heaters now fall under the supported pathway only. In the French overseas departments, solar water heaters, solar shading, ventilated over-roofs and ventilated cladding remain eligible as standalone measures. Contractors must be RGE-certified for the matching qualification (QualiPAC, Qualibat, QualiENR).
